Although you have to go through a process to obtain passes to enter Fort Story to view, visit and touch these marvelous site, it's all worth it. the walking up into the lighthouse is the equivalent of 14 floors, so beware if you feel energetic enough. The view of the other lighthouse is stunning from the top of the old Cape Henry lighthouse.
