My boyfriend, dog, and I traveled to the Kittery and York area of Maine for the day and Fort Foster was definitely the best stop. The views were great, plenty of rocky beaches to spread out on, and walking paths. The pier was pretty cool too. Ample parking and only $10 a carload.
