Apr 24, 2014 · 2oz isn't a lot at all, especially with waiting 2/3 hours. But as others have said they only have small stomachs and formula can be quite heavy. Jul 14, 2021 · All 4 of my kids have nursed every 2-3 hours until they wean themselves. Can't force them to eat more than they want to. Breastmilk digests quickly and completely. Formula babies go longer because they are often overfed and formula is super hard to digest.
