Aug 02, 2015 · About night float, though, and the duty hours changes, the one thing I think it did that lowered quality of life in the programs I saw was the length of everyone's days. IMO, working 12 hour days 6 days a week is super miserable. I'd much rather have some shorter days coupled with a call day (and a post call day!) in there. Night float is OK.
