FYI: MN State Parks have a vehicle entrance fee of $5 for a 1-day pass or $25 for an annual pass good for all the MN state parks and recreation areas. I think park hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can check their website for more information and a photo tour.

The park itself is beautiful, with WPA era buildings, lots of shaded campsites and nice hiking trails. Unique to this park is a large sandy bottomed "swimming hole." This is a man-made swimming pool that looks just like a little lake.
