    Jul 03, 2007 · My thought is that the floor should come first because the door can always be raised/lowered to meet up with the floor. My husband worries that if we put the floor in first, the new door will not match up with the cuts or transistions the installers may do to accomodate the old door. Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
