I think the general requirement of 8 to 12 hours fasting leaves a lot to ambiguity. I'm afraid to think what my 8 hr. fbg would be if I had a large meal at say 10 PM.... like I often used to. "They" say a normal person should return to base 2 to 4 hours after eating, no matter how much or what they eat.
