May 16, 2015 · First locate the FalloutLauncher.exe in "Steam>steamapps>common>Fallout 3 goty". Then rename the orginal FalloutLauncher.exe to anything like "FalloutLauncher1.exe". Then rename "Fallout3.exe" to "FalloutLauncher.exe". After you done it you should see your hours played when you start fallout 3 on steam.

Jun 29, 2015 · So whenever I launch Fallout 3, it starts to count my hours and says I'm in game. As soon as I click the play button from the Fallout launcer, my player profile turns blue indicating I'm no longer in-game. The game works fine, I didn't have to do anything to get it to work besides download it, and I'd really like to use the steam overlay while playing.

Answers. This game is the kind where you sink countless hours into it, or maybe half a day, depending on whether you like to do sidequests/explore/find collectibles. The minimum time required is probably around 10-12 hours, but if you go for everything the game has to offer, along with expansions, you could easily reach over 70-100 hours.
