Jun 07, 2005 · Exim freezes outgoing messages when it cannot deliver them, but leaves them in the outgoing queue for some period of days, to give administrators time to discover them in the logs and find out why they're not deliverable. To check for reasons a message isn't deliverable you need to run exim manually, from the command line, in it's diagnostic mode.
