So sorry you had such a hard time. I have fractured my tailbone (not during delivery. I took a hard fall on concrete stairs :) and yes, it does get better. For a long time sitting for awhile did bother me but it was manageable. Now I hardly ever feel anything. Take it easy and ice :)
