Apr 21, 2011 · A camp is a large basis with a significant military force. A FOB stands for a "Forward Operations Base" and is mainly used as an outpost with a smaller force, usually Battalion level. We also have CSC which are Convoy Support Centers which are a little smaller than a FOB and are mainly truck way-points along the routes.
