Dec 01, 2011 · It does not use Activesync and pushes emails to iOS/Android phones through a server, much like a BES server does for Blackberries. I do not know if the logon hours would cause issues with delivery on Good though. It's not free, but will give you some additional features for managing phones that Exchange Activesync does not provide.

May 05, 2010 · We use Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007 and Windows Server 2008. We have users that have iPhones and they use Active Sync with Exchange to get their corporate email. The problem is that some of the users have logon hours in AD that are set to 7-5 Monday through Friday and 8-12 on Saturdays.
