Evangola State Park's major attraction is its beautiful arc-shaped shoreline and natural sand beach on Lake Erie. Low cliffs of Angola shale line the edge of the beach. In addition to swimming, the park has picnic facilities, baseball and soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, and campsites.

We visited the Evangola State Park and stayed for 2 nights at a yurt, August 2014. Stayed in a yurt for the first time. It was an amazing experience. The park was located just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Spent a couple of hours at the beach, barbecued and chilled out.
