We had the lake to ourselves this morning which was nice. We kayaked, didn't swim. The water slides are open Monday, Thursday, Fri-Sun, June-Sept. Pay for it. It's well worth it. The line moves quick and the kids had a great time. The snack bar has treats. Heads up, cash only. Great playground too when it's not in the 90°s.

Lake Selmac, a half hour out of Grants Pass, is the warmest lake around. Of course, there are other lakes, too, but too many to mention. Emigrant Lake, as a county park, requires a $4 day use fee. This lake earned its' 2 stars for 2 good qualities- it is the most convenient lake- the only lake in the valley.

Most of the fish you’ll find in Emigrant Lake are bass (lubina) and trout (trucha) and are really not worth eating because of worms, many bones and pollutants. But hey, there is a huge lake to enjoy along with a decent little water park and a large picnic area. Lots of groups on the weekends. Fun! Fun! Applegate Lake (Upper Applegate Road)
