Emery Park had an abundance of attractions from the beginning- a rock garden, an amphitheater (original capacity 600), formal gardens, stone arch footbridge and Emery Inn (Est. 1926, used as a museum & restaurant but was the former home of the Emery family). The Park contains sixty-nine structures, 95% of the structures built during or before 1935.

It is a great park for family picnics. It has walking trails and well maintained roads. There is a steep gully on the north side of the park. A parking lot on Emery Rd. is at the top of the ski hill. There is a t bar operated during park hours that can be used for free. The park also has a very challenging disc golf course.
