The Eglin Beach Park is remaining open beyond its regularly scheduled season, offering Military/DoD ID cardholders and their families a whole extra month of weekends on the Gulf! 3 reviews of Eglin Beach Park "Driving on 98 West, we noticed a nice beach, so we pulled in. For DoD Common Access Card holders only. Cool. $5 parking fee. Unfortunately, in this season, the water has too much of green moss. It was beautiful setting with four pavilions. One of which had a wedding ongoing. When we left, the lady at the gate was kind enough to refund the parking fee.
