May 09, 2020 · I'm still learning the lake myself, but you'll catch fish out there. There are a ton of weeds all around the lake, several shallow flats, and several mid lake humps. You can almost cover the whole lake fishing a few hours from boat. Good numbers of largemouth, decent size largemouth (AVG. 2 pounds with biggest so far being ~4.5 pounds).Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins

The entire lake just about, at least 2/3 anyways, is nothing but fishy structure. With as hard as that lake gets hammered, its the only reason there are decent fish in there still!

Jun 18, 2012 · Registered. Made my first trip to Eastwood Lake last night. Fished from 7:30 pm until almost 10:00 pm. Hard for me to give an honest report about the fishing there but I can throw out my experience. For one, Eastwood is just a big pond, not a lake IMO. There were only 3 or 4 boats out, one person was tubing / skiing and a couple of boats fishing.
