Easton's Beach is pretty much the city beach for Newport, RI. It stretches for about half a mile or so, with adequate sand, sometimes good waves, and nice amenities like restrooms, a good snack bar with lobster rolls, and a children's playground. There is also a carousel, and a skateboard park.
