Highly recommend a visit to the East Point Lighthouse, the second oldest NJ lighthouse. Is on the Delaware River with beautiful views. The rooms on each floor include period items for the lightkeeper and family. The stairs up have handrails and the ladder to the top has been replaced with a circular staircase.
