As a local I have enjoyed East Rock Park for its many trails, that either go to the top of the rock, Rice Field (Baseball field), or to the Eli Whitney Museum. The Park offers basketball courts, a nature center, a river for kayaking or canoeing, and a 450 ft. view of the New Haven and Long Island Sound.
