Currently have Exchange 2007 which is working fine and we are in the final stages of testing exchange 2010, but can’t get past this intermittent issue of email randomly getting stuck in the mapi delivery queue. Restarting the transport service flushes the queue and it may not occur again for 24 hours plus.

Dec 17, 2011 · all email is stuck in queue on exchange 2010. Everything has been working fine but, last night @ 9pm all email stopped. I can still connect to exchange both with outlook client and OWA. But, email not flowing. This is internal and external email. I am in still in co-exisit mode with 2003. rebooted both servers still down. HELP!!!

Jul 16, 2013 · I am having Exchange Server 2010 Infrastructure, 2 HUB/CAS Server in NLB & 2 Mailbox Server at production site & 1 HUB/CAS Server and 1 Mailbox Server at DR site. 3 Mailbox Servers are in same DAG. MAPI Delivery for a particular database, mails stuck in the Queue in Active State which used to grow and after restarting Transport Services...

Exchange 2010 Mail stuck in Queue. Yesterday we got hit by a barrage of spam around 250/Min and caused our exchange queues to go a bit spazzy (in a technical sense) I stopped mail at our External relay so we could get this back under control.
