Exceeded number of SMTP delivery retries. When checked the scheduler log it is still trying to mail on old mail server which doesn't exist anymore. Old mail server was already deleted from Fusion Middleware Control. Changes. Changed mail server setting in Fusion Middleware Control.

You can also designate the number of times to attempt to deliver a message .. in the first paragraph. I'd hope I could set this value to 1 or 0, perhaps in the registry.
