Mar 23, 2015 · The asterisk location is voicemail.conf and the asterisk config does call out "Asterisk PBX" exactly. I just looked in my elastix vm and the voicemail.conf file only contains the commands to include for the files vm_general.inc and vm_email.inc. This is where you should make the changes for elastix in the include files.

The problem was [email protected] which was sending voicemail to email it was not a proper email address and it was not being resolved by the DNS server as pockw.localdomain was my server host name .

I am using FreePBX Distro 14 on Asterisk 11 What is the correct process on changing the FROM email address that emailed voicemails are sent out as?
