We were told a 15-20 minute wait (this was around 6:30, the 5:00 diners were all leaving) but only waited about 7 minutes. All the food is served on the same plates, they look like diner plates from the 1950s or 60s. The food is really tasty, but isn't really fancy or modern.

The Double Musky Inn is a rite of passage for anybody in Anchorage - they even have their own recipe book! Nothing is diet food here. Opening hours are limited, and it's best to get here around 4.30 because you can't make a reservation. There may be a line, but you can go to the bar. I don't drink personally.

Delivery & Pickup Options - 408 reviews of The Double Musky Inn "Top 5 best meals of my life. This place is expensive, but worth every penny. You must try the crab stuffed halibut and the musky pie. I've asked them to ship me the pie, but they won't. I would fly back to AK just for this place."

Double Musky Inn has that old Alaskan herd mentality where everyone goes to it because everyone has heard someone recommend it as 'must go' in Girdwood, and then because so many people like it you feel obligated to like it as well.
