The Environmental Education Center is at the end of Grand Boulevard in Alviso. Most volunteers work in and/or out of these buildings.

The refuge, not far from the bedroom suburb of San Francisco/San Jose, is a windswept scenic area of marshland. The wildlife refuge is fun to just hike the rugged landscape.
