Dobbins Lockout is worthy of a trip to see. It's worthy of many trips. An improvement project was just completed and the lookout has recently been reopened to the public. The view is breathtaking. Anyway, before you head up the winding road to the lookout stop at the base at the newly constructed visitor center that replaced a cramped CCC era building.
