The DISH receivers should not shut off automatically to go down for so called updates, these updates can wait until the receiver(s) are turned off. Especially when your in the middle of watching a recorded show from the built in DVR, why would I want it to shut down for updates when I am watching shows on the DVR? It doesn't make sense, it is very annoying and DISH needs to stop doing it.
