Diamond Head State Monument is open to the public, 6:00am to 6:00pm, six days a week (closed every Wednesday), year-round including holidays. Last tour offered at 2:00pm and last chance to hike the trail without a tour is at 4:00pm.

The hike is 5 stars, but I gave diamond head 4 stars due to the mismanagement of the park. When I last hiked in March 2021, diamond head was free, 3 months later in June, I was disappointed to see that Hawaii is now charging $5.00 for the hike.
