A session includes one day of class per week, for 4 weeks. These are 1-2 hour classes, depending on the class level. The students are placed in class based on age, gender, and ability. Students who feel that gymnastics is "their sport" and would like to excel further, should sign up for two or more classes a week.

NINJAKOUR. NinjaKour is an exciting obstacle movement course that combines gymnastics, tumbling, vaulting and freestyle movements. It’s purpose is to instruct in these disciplines and skills, but also instill confidence, discipline, group participation and impulse control. Desert Thunder is growing and always on the lookout for fun, innovative, enthusiastic individuals to teach gymnastics to girls and boys, ages 18month through teens. Part-time hours - Weekday evening and Saturday availability is required. There is also some weekday morning hours.

This is the traditional developmental competitive program determined by USA Gymnastics. This program progresses from entry-level through college and elite-level gymnastics. Our girls JO program trains 9-12 hours a week and progress up to 15-20 hours a week as the gymnast advances. The girls JO team competes in approximately 6 meets a year.
