The butterfly exhibit (included with admission but requires separate timed ticket) was fun with over 1500 butterflies. I liked the bright colorful animal sculptures throughout the garden. They added a lighthearted, quirky modern touch. The Desert Botanical Garden was a worthwhile visit but would go early or late to avoid the midday heat.

The Garden closes every day in December at 4 p.m. and reopens at 5:30 p.m. for Luminaria. Please note on Dec. 1, the Garden closes at noon for a private event.
