The US Mint in Denver has tour offerings run by apathetic people who discourage tourists from visiting. I was on a working vacation last week with my wife and kids (10 and 5) from Salt Lake City. I grew up in Littleton and we were visiting family on our visit, but we were staying at a nice hotel in downtown Denver, walking distance to the mint.
