Aug 14, 2007 · I would definitely get her checked by a vet (she should have been checked 24hrs after whelping) if you haven't already but i would tend to agree with redhotbo... that she is probably just a very stressed out new mum, panting and shaking is sometimes a sign of stress (not necessarily pain), especially as you say she has been eating and is a very protective mum!
