Dec 06, 2019 · Food is delivered by an Uber driver who may not be used to delivering food. There seems to be communication issues between Uber and the restaurants at times. There is no way to rate a driver and there is little oversight. For example, we were told no one was going to follow up on our driver’s claim about throwing out the food.

Uber is clearly a curbside service. I'm talking about UberEats, and every time I've used it, they've come to the door and there's been no problem. Generally, when you order delivery food, they bring it to your door, not the middle of the street.

No. Uber eats delivers food, but ridershare is to pick up and drop off passengers from a to b and sometimes c. Don’t expect to call a ride to ikea and hope we will start strapping furniture to the roof, or unload and start carrying shelves or a couch up the stairs. Use their delivery service.
