Oct 13, 2011 · "Whether a signature will be required for the delivery of your order will be left to the delivery persons discretion".... so if your drive feels it is safe to leave the package at your home they may do so... but if they feel it is unsafe they will require you to be home to sign for it or have you pick it up at the facility....

Oct 13, 2011 · Delivery Signature Required..... I'm willing to bet the driver will just leave it. Unless their instructed otherwise tomorrow; you'll have it sitting on your step when you get home. Drivers would rather get rid of it then carry it around and go to the same stop the next day.

Oct 12, 2011 · Just got off the phone with UPS after trying to set up an authorized release to allow the driver to leave my phone on my doorstep without a signature. The representative said that Sprint has specifically requested that a signature be REQUIRED before they leave our IPhone 4S.

If you're near the UPS sort center where the package is coming through...you can try and call ahead to have the package held back so that it doesn't even make it on to a truck for delivery. Then you can just pick it up there. You'll need the inside phone number to get it pulled though.
