Sep 22, 2006 · No matter the time of day or time of year, there is mail processing going on every second. How else would we be able to deliver around 213 billion pieces of mail each year? In defference to one other answer here, USPS does NOT charge extra for Saturday Delivery. That would be UPS or FedEx.
