May 19, 2011 · No mail is not delivered on Saturdays in Canada Post except for the possibility around Christmas time frame but usually only the Saturday before hand. Afterwards mail is only delivered Monday to Friday except holidays. In some areas, CPO does deliver on Saturdays, in others it doesn't. Home delivery is Monday to Friday.

So your tracking said Canada Post had the package, but it had not yet reached the destination post office. Depending on where it was going, delivery would have been possible TODAY, but more likely it will be Monday.
