Many couriers do indeed use their own vehicles. My FIL is a courier and does not have a car supplied. Conversely, many pizza delivery joints in London send their delivery drivers out on branded motorcycles. Ownership of a vehicles is clearly not the criterion for tipping.

Oct 02, 2012 · I am from the North East of the UK. Newcastle Area, and I have never, nor heard of anyone tipping a pizza guy. I tip at restaurants for good service etc but not for a man that just transports Pizza from one place to another. If you heard him complain, he doesnt deserve a tip anyway.
