If you had some specific request that they satisfied, like you moved the setup 3 times, or they had to haul it up 3 internal flights of stairs than maybe tip, because you could justify it as above and beyond, but keep in mind they are wage-an-hours so to them it does not matter how long it takes.

Do you tip furniture delivery drivers? ... Just a couple days ago I had to hoist a king mattress down the side of a house with ropes. Back when it was delivered the guys refused to bring it up, so when the customer did with friends it got ripped. I think someone who moves beds everyday coulda managed it, but either through policy or laziness ...

I’m really a fairly generous tipper when I tip but it never occurred to me that I should have tipped the mattress delivery guys. Now I kind of feel bad because maybe they thought I was cheap! :-) I am clueless about these things. I may have to ask a question about this matter in order to educate myself.

When the crew knows you're the tipping kind of client, they'll go to extra lengths to make sure there's no damage to the home or furniture, and will likely do more to clean up after themselves. Also, if you can, tip the crew themselves instead of just the drivers if you intend for it to be split.

Ok so by far the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on was at a Hilton in Honolulu, Hawaii (Hawaiian village). I looked online and found that it’s called the Suite Dreams collection by Serta and that many people felt the same way as I did, ordered a $750-1500 mattress and were happy for 1-2 years when the mattress starts to absolutely shit the bed (no pun intended).

Mar 18, 2013 · For me it would depend on lots of things - stairs/how easy they are to navigate, whether they're taking out the old bed as a favor or whether you're paying for that, whether the delivery guys show up on time (or call/apologize if they're late), how careful they are with the furniture/walls, and how receptive they are to moving the furniture exactly where I want it, etc.
