May 11, 2013 · Since you are assembling the furniture yourself, I wouldn't tip anything more than five dollars. I tip moving men ten dollars but only if they move and arrange all the furniture. Ikea furniture is brought in a box, so it's almost like a postman (and you must never tip a postman - that is not allowed).
