The delivery fee typically does NOT go to the driver so you just fucked him/her over with your own ignorance. It's simple enough to ask when you order where that fee goes and go from there. As a former delivery driver I would thank you for taking the time to do so.

If a $20 tip is acceptable I’d totally do it, but if $50 is a standard tip I’d probably just man up and throw that shit in my car, I bought a couch & chair from a local furniture store last year. They charged me $120 for delivery. I didn’t tip. For you, I think $20 is generous for a tip.
