Most companies that do such deliveries have a no tipping furniture delivery personnel policy, which will make you feel pretty silly when the furniture delivery person turns down your tip.

Apr 30, 2009 · Some people tip for every delivery, but unless there are special circumstances (like carrying the furniture up 3 flights of stairs), it's not necessary to tip the furniture delivery guys. They make a good wage and I'm sure they would appreciate a cold drink when they're finished, but tipping isn't absolutely necessary.
