Dec 27, 2011 · Has ACOG changed its position on this issue. I was always taught you could not bill a delivery code for anything under 20 weeks. You billed out the appropriate number of antepartum visits, then for the hospital stay you billed the admission, and discharge and the appropriate e/m service for the work done for delivery of the fetal demise.
