DoorDash uses your tip to also pay the dasher for the delivery. If you give a $5 tip and doordash is supposed to pay them $3 then only $2 of your “tip” will actually be a tip. On the app it says “100% goes to your dasher.” Technically it’s true but you are also covering what doordash is supposed to pay them.

The chipotle app defaults to the store that's across the river from me when I order delivery. The problem with this is that's a 10 mile drive one way due to where the bridge is for the river, which is bad not only for the driver and environment, but it makes my food colder as well.

Jul 27, 2016 · The guy ordered one chicken bowl from chipotle which amounted to around seven bucks and I got paid five for the delivery. So he probably paid around 6 or 7 for the delivery plus the bowl which totals 14 bucks or so. And he tipped me 10 fucking dollars! That's a 75% tip. I seriously don't know what happened it must be a mistake.

I've always considered myself a pretty good tipper, I know how hard it is dealing with people, so I try to help out and tip well when service is good. If they charge a delivery fee I only tip a dollar. If it's bad weather out, or the pizza arrived really quickly, I might tip as high $5. Otherwise, somewhere around $2. I know everyone around here always says how important it is to tip the shit out of servers and delivery people, but I'm bitter and cynical about it.
