IOD is DHL speak for something like information on delivery. It was. alledgedly going to be confirmation of delivery, but the acronym COD would be confusing. That'll be the electronic pad you sign to confirm you've had it, which is then uploaded onto their tracker website.

Just means that a 3rd party company is delivering it on behalf of DHL. IOD is like the signature - so DHL are waiting for Home Service Delivery to send info of delivery back to them. I Have the same thing.
