Dec 21, 2017 · If the recipient is a DL, the message trace status is expanded, and if you haven’t receive messages, it may because the DL fail to send emails to your email address. May 01, 2014 · Using a 365 hybrid environment. Users cannot send to a specific internal distribution list. The emails are stuck with a delivery status: expanded. I am already aware on how to trace emails as that is the only relevant advancement towards a solution out here on the web.

Apr 23, 2018 · When I ran the trace two emails were found, one was delivered properly (which contained a follow up to the previous) and the other's status was 'expanded'. Now to my understanding of what the message trace status of 'expanded' means that the message was distributed to members of a distribution group, yet the email address listed in the original was user's mailbox, not a distribution group.5/5(3)
