Aug 25, 2016 · Delivery is delayed to these recipients or groups, i had checked queue viewer in Exchange console it's shows like "451.4.4.0 primary target ip address responded with :"521 connection rejected" attempted fail over to alternate host" but that did not succeed . Either there are no alternate host or delivery failed to all alternate host .

May 21, 2009 · The delivery process goes through the "advanced queue --> categorizer --> remote queue submission" sequence a couple times and then sends out he email after 3 hours. The packet capture shows a lot of syn/ack traffic between the Exchange 2003 server and the SmartHost (McAfee email appliance) while the messages are queued up.
