I ended up having a c-section but not until I had tried to vaginally deliver my son who was over 9Lbs. I did not have polyhydramnios with my second son and attempted a VBAC but still had to have a c-section. My second son was 8lbs 14oz so I don't think the polyhydramnios really impacted the first delivery.
