Oct 30, 2012 · I have users who are trying to use the delayed send feature of Outlook 2010. We have the delay period set to 10 minutes. The problem is that the messages are not sent after 10 minutes and in fact are not sent at all until a manual send (F9) is executed.

When you enable the Do not deliver before option to defer the delivery of a message, the message is deferred to the local Outbox, not to the server. Therefore, the message will not be delivered from the local .ost file unless Outlook is running when the message is scheduled to be delivered.

Feb 03, 2012 · FYI, I noticed that I can't do delayed delivery of a normal meeting appointment because the option is not even available. Maybe this is an issue when the Lync plug-in is working with Outlook. The plug-in might somehow allow the option to be visible even though it's not a valid option for an appointment email.

Aug 01, 2017 · Outlook 2016 Delay Send not Working I am trying to schedule a message for delivery while I am away at the Summit. Under "Options" I have selected delay delivery and specified (by checking the Do not deliver before box) 7/24/17 at 9:00 am as the message delivery date and time.

Aug 11, 2015 · We're currently migrating from Exchange 2010 to 2013 and a few of our users are saying the "Delayed Delivery" option in Outlook is not working as it used to. They are claiming that they were able to set a time for delivery, close Outlook, and the email would be sent at the right time.
