Curt Goodrich Bicycles Saturday, May 31, 2008. Bi-laminate Sorry for the lame formatting. Here's some shots early into a build. Combining lugs with fillet brazing is often called bi-laminate construction. At least it is in England. This has never been a common form of joint joinery in the U.S. so I'm not sure if we have a term for it.

My experience with Curt many, many years ago was the exact opposite. He was incredibly responsive and built me a fantastic bike. That said, there is nothing more annoying than a builder who goes AWOL. I hope that Curt and his family are all OK.
