But my advice would be that if all you need is the credit take CS 180 instead. It is a much better run course, you learn a lot more, and generally has great professors teaching it. However, 180 only covers programming in Java, whereas 159 covers programming in C. So if you need to know C programming take 159, otherwise take 180.
